While a project manager is a professional who plans and organizes resources and personnel. They must make sure they complete the project on time and within budget. They must also ensure that the project meets the requirements of the business. Project managers exist in all industries and every type of organization. While a project plan is a document that may require Excel charts but is otherwise composed in Microsoft Word. For basic projects, however, you may get away with only a Microsoft Excel document.
